Faking It

The Onion is selling gift boxes featuring fake products that will definitely make watching dad open that package of socks you got him more exciting. Who wouldn't want the iFeast, a portable MP3 docking station/pet feeding system or a smoke alarm that wakes you slowly to the gentle sounds of the rain forest? Fortunately, these products don't actually exist, but you can buy the empty boxes online at the Onion Store.

Common Softwear by Microsoft

Rapper Common has partnered with Microsoft to create a clothing line called Softwear which will launch this week. The line of shirts are meant to evoke the '80s, a seminal time in the history of PCs. As such, they feature  retro MS-DOS fonts and a mugshot of a young Bill Gates. Pair them with acid-washed jeans and a Swatch watch and get out the floppy disks!Check out the full collection HERE.

English schoolgirl Georgina Hobday had an outrageous Sweet 16th Birthday party planned at her parents luxurious beachfront estate a la the MTV reality series. Unfortunately, 400+ gatecrashers who heard about the event via Facebook stormed the mansion; scaling walls and causing general mayhem.

There is of course a silver-lining to the whole disaster. Georgina (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Lily Cole) was spotted in pics from the shindig by scouts from Storm Model Management. Known famously for launching the careers of Devon Aoki, Elle Macpherson, Lily Cole, Eva Herzigova and Kate Moss, Storm is one of the top modeling agencies around the globe. Contracts in hand, agency reps have  arranged to meet with the young girl and see where it goes from there. They aren't saying that they've made the teen an offer yet, but they did send out a press release and speak with the media regarding the upcoming visit. Sounds like Georgina may have cause for another celebration.

Both websites strategy of selling directly to consumers instead through wholesalers reported record sales last month. By cutting the middle man retailers retain a higher margin of profit and consumers a greater discount.

The tables are turned. There is a new Spanx-like undergarment for the guys that is hitting the stores all too soon. That's right the much rumored body slimming undergarment has finally been announced. It's called Core Precision and it makes you look like you have a six-pack. Where do I get mine?

Whaaa?  A new wrinkle and scar injection called Vavelta promises to smooth out fine lines and scarring with a radical new ingredient: Cells from babies' foreskins. The serum is injected in the lower layers of the epidermis, eventually revealing younger-looking skin after a few months. The foreskins are donated by mothers of circumcised babies in U.S. hospitals. Ewww.
