Win, Goop and Gwyneth

If you're ever looking for a celebrity to dislike just make your way over to Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle portal "Goop". A lot of ink has been spilled on the idiocy of the site (for good reason) due to the scribes terrible spelling and inane suggestions. In a recession chic piece about saving ca$h she prattles on about a $4,000 watch being a steal. HELLO?! Welcome to the real world lady where people smell bad, don't name the kids after arbitrary nouns,  and do their own damn laundry. Let's be honest. G-dubs probably needs a manual with detailed instructions to use "Spray and Wash".

Nonetheless, in her latest passage she goes on about frenemies and how terrible we are for celebrating taking someone down a few pegs. She starts the whole thing with an admission about a another celeb... that is clearly Winona Ryder. Way to take the high road G. (click images to enlarge)

Topshop Topman Finally Open

The U.S. Topshop/Topman four-story megaplex has finally opened its doors in Soho, christened by Kate Moss gleefully twirling on a podium in her own creations alongside Topshop owner and retail tycoon (and one of England's wealthiest men) Sir Philip Green—or Uncle Phil, as she calls him. Oh please, so would you if you could use his private jet whenever you wanted. This was amid no fewer than four frenzied days of private parties, dinners at Balthazar, gift-card grabbing on the street, VIP shopping events, billboards at every turn and very, very happy people everywhere.

Featuring an entire floor of Kate Moss for Topshop as well as designer collaborations with the likes of Preen and, allegedly, an on-call courier service—in case you have a life-threatening deficiency of skinnies or shrunken blazers. I'm going to ignore the part of us that agrees with what the Guardian wrote—"(It's) hard to comprehend such febrile anticipation for what is, essentially, a mid-budget fast-fashion chain store found in most high streets"—and just be happy.

Coco Avant Chanel

Sartorialists everywhere will be lining up like Star Wars fans for the forth coming release of  Coco Avant Chanel (Coco, Before Chanel) on April 22, 2009. Audrey Tautou (Alemie, The Da Vinci Code) plays fashion icon Coco Chanel as the film explores the early days of a name synonymous with style and her rise to fame in Paris.
