Kim Kardashian take note, Natalie Portman’s foray into hawking shoes online has tanked. The venture, Té Casan was actually an intriguing concept. The company plucked seven unknown designers who had previous experience
at major design houses - McQueen, Versace, Westood - and had them
design a new shoe every week. Not only were the shoes well-designed,
they were well-priced, and limited edition (only 74 of each style were
made), so you could stand out in affordable heels. It might have been the limited production or frequency of the designs weighed down on the bottom line. Either way, it's pink slip time at the shoe shop.
